I was born on January 5, 2004, in Rouen and I currently live near to Paris for my studies.
After obtaining the baccalaureate, I've done the first year APA (Arts, Landscape, Architecture), created by the École Nationale Supérieure of Arts of Paris-Cergy, the École Nationale Supérieure of Landscape of Versailles, and the École Nationale Supérieure of Architecture of Versailles, with a strong desire for experimentation. This was shown, in particular, by five years of participating in extra-curricular artistic practice workshops (at the Maison des Arts Solange Baudoux in Évreux with Emmanuel André and Emilie Gomis-Thomas), internships (Maison des Arts Solange Baudoux in Évreux and with Frédéric Bihel), selecting the arts option as well as the arts specialization in high school (with Cécile Sagnier), as well as been published in a magazine, designing posters, participating in competitions, and exhibitions in France and Switzerland (resume available on request for more details).
Painting, drawing, collage, montage, photography, video, volume, or even animation, all on various media, already made up my multidisciplinary practice, and all these experiences only convinced me more each time and fueled my desire to make my artistic practice my job I then naturally chose to join the École Nationale Supérieure of Arts of Paris-Cergy for my second year (L2). I therefore began the third year (L3) of the DNA (National Diploma in Arts) in September 2025.
My work follows an approach I like to call "deconstruct to better reconstruct" due to the materials and references I accumulate, which belong to my collection, whether physical or not, personal (basically, I take little bits of things to put them together).
My productions most often depict strange hybrid beings as well as (self)portraits that are more or less realistic/imaginative. Additionally, they regularly question physical appearance in link with time and also more recently, they speak of illness, griefs, and death.
I often start my creations with sketches and tests in my notebook, saturated with stains, patterns, stencils, calculations, experiments, words, reflections, characters, observational drawings, flyers, patterns in disorder, ... held together with staples, tape, and irregular stitching. I like things that are wobbly and a little defective, strange and unconventional things, hence my love of monsters, and this is reflected in the personality of my notebook.
I am inspired by video games, books, films, cartoons, music, wildlife, card games, as well as various artists such as Damien Deroubaix, Emil Ferris, David Hockney, Michel Nedjar, Tim Burton, Alberto Giacometti, Jean Fautrier, Maurice Sendak, Piet Mondrian, Arman, Jackson Pollock, William Kentridge, Otto Dix, Barbara Kruger, Erbossyn Meldibekov, Roland Topor, Art Spiegelman or else Tim Noble and Sue Webster.
